The Digital Operation is growing at pace and the role holder will have a technical competence which can be translated to an operational and customer context.
As the Digital Bank changes, you'll also be responsible for ensuring Digital Operations remains able to meet future demands of our customers. This will involve defining and delivering our future-state capability, allowing us to meet our integration, acquisition, and divestiture needs.

As a member of the Security, Operations Change, and Implementation Senior Leadership Team (reporting the Director of SOCI), you'll partner with your peers to help shape and define the future-vision for each of those areas; also working with our Digital COO Fraud team to ensure complete alignment within the Digital Business.

This is a complex role that requires an individual who can translate people, process, and technology opportunities and risks into actions that will prepare the Digital Operation for continued future success. The role holder will also become part of the Group Incident Management Silver team, representing GDT on high-impact incidents.

Additionally we'll see you support the Operations, Digital Cyber Security and Digital Fraud teams, helping to shape their future-state visions and transform their capabilities to meet future demands. And you'll drive improvement to service working closely with existing operational and technology teams.

What we'll need from you:
* Strong technical background and understanding of the Digital Banking operational landscape
* Experience of operating in a Digital organisation
* The ability to create strategic roadmaps, identifying how opportunities translate into deliverables
* The ability to deliver change on both a direct and indirect basis working across teams
* Competent understanding of Operations/Fraud/Security/Change
* Knowledge and understanding of external and regulatory environments and potential for impact of the digital business
* Ability to work across teams in a matrix environment

The role would suit someone who is an experienced leader used to directing and influencing cross functional teams and is technically competent in multiple areas and who has transitioned over to a business-facing role.
