We are looking for an experienced Backend Engineer (.NET) to build and scale cloud-native commerce services powering AI-driven retail experiences. You will design and develop microservices, APIs, and event-driven systems on Microsoft Azure while ensuring performance, security, and reliability at scale.
Key ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain backend microservices using .NET 8/.NET Core and C#.
Build secure REST APIs and integrations using ASP.NET Core and Azure API Management.
Develop event-driven solutions using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, and Azure Functions.
Build scalable data solutions using Entity Framework Core, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, or PostgreSQL.
Integrate backend services with Azure OpenAI/Azure AI Foundry powered capabilities such as personalization, conversational AI, and intelligent search.
Implement secure authentication and authorization using Azure Entra ID, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
Deploy and manage applications using Docker, AKS, and Azure App Services.
Build CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions.
Write automated tests, perform code reviews, and troubleshoot production issues.
Required Skills
5-8 years of backend development experience.
Strong expertise in C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core Web API.
Experience designing and building microservices architectures.
2+ years of experience developing cloud-native applications on Microsoft Azure.
Hands-on experience with messaging/event-driven systems and distributed applications.
Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
