About the role
As an IT Field / Desktop Support Engineer, you will make an impact by delivering hands-on remote and deskside technical support that keeps Newmont's end users productive and connected. You will be a valued member of the IT Service Delivery - End User Computing team and work collaboratively with the IT Service Delivery Manager / Team Lead and site-based stakeholders across approved Newmont locations.

You will be a valued member of the IT Service Delivery - End User Computing team and work collaboratively with the IT Service Delivery Manager / Team Lead and site-based stakeholders across approved Newmont locations.
In this role, you will:
- Provide remote and deskside support to authorized users for incidents, service requests, and information requests, resolving issues in line with agreed service levels
- Provision, image, and deploy workstations for joiners, leavers, and movers, and manage the add/removal of workstations to/from Active Directory
- Administer core end-user services including email, Wi-Fi, printing/scanning, application deployment, and access to network resources such as O365, file shares, and printers
- Support and install desktop computing hardware and peripherals - including Windows and Mac desktops/laptops, monitors, mobile devices, printers, and scanners - alongside associated endpoint security solutions
- Manage warranty and non-warranty hardware, maintain stock levels at key sites, and provide VIP support in line with agreed processes

What you need to have to be considered
- Strong working knowledge of O365 Suites
- Strong understanding of virtual desktop services (e.g., Citrix/Microsoft)
- Good working knowledge of technology in meeting spaces (e.g., wall-mounted screens, projectors, IP phones, video conferencing devices)
- Good end-user interaction and customer service skills
