At CommBank, we're building a better bank for our customers and communities. As a Manager, Group Financial Risk (GFR) Business Performance, you'll play a key role in supporting the Chief Operating Officer (COO) to deliver critical business, risk and operational outcomes across GFR.
You'll work closely with senior stakeholders to coordinate priorities, uplift performance visibility, and help ensure the GFR function is well-managed, well-governed and positioned to deliver on its strategic objectives.

The GFR division owns the principal accountability for the credit frameworks for the Group. As well as responsibility for key financial risk change outcomes and credit risk model development. GFR comprises two Crews (Counterparty Credit Crew and Capital and Provisioning Modelling Crew) and a number of WWA teams including Group Credit Structuring, Portfolio, Policy and Provisioning, Credit Risk Assurance and Group Insurance.
The GFR COO supports the Chief Credit Officer (CCO) across Line 1 Risk and Compliance, PACE planning, data governance, business and people strategy, and financial management. This role sits within the COO team and plays a key enabling role across these priorities.

Your day could look like (but not limited to):
- Support the delivery of GFR domain planning cycles, including PACE, Objective and Key Results (OKRs), Annual Operating Plan (AOP) inputs, Big Room Planning and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) activities
- Track performance against objectives and support coordination of priorities and dependencies across GFR
- Assist with financial oversight activities including forecasting, FTE tracking, productivity initiatives and Opex performance
- Coordinate and quality-assure executive reporting and governance materials, including QBR packs and CCO papers
- Partner with stakeholders across GFR, Finance, HR and Risk Management COO, and Compliance and Enterprise Risk to support delivery of COO priorities
- Prepare high-quality insights, reporting and briefing materials for senior stakeholders
- Support the COO and wider team on ad hoc strategic and operational initiatives
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Hands on experience within risk management, with credit risk experience highly regarded
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and support planning cycles (e.g. PACE, QBRs or similar)
- Experience supporting financial activities such as forecasting, reporting or FTE/Opex tracking
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to prepare clear, executive-ready materials
- Confidence engaging with senior stakeholders and coordinating across teams
- A high level of attention to detail and quality in outputs
- A proactive, delivery-oriented mindset with the ability to take ownership of tasks and drive outcomes
