A global commodities trading business are looking for a recently qualified accountant who would be interested in a move to the Nordics as a trade financial controller, bolstering the team in a newly created hire. This person needs to have extensive experience working within a commodities trading environment. Full support of relocation to Copenhagen is available!

Responsibilities

Trade accounting, supporting the initiative to get tighter in trade control
Support delivery of the monthly close process for all entities
Process improvement
Dealing with vast amounts of data and able to manipulate it
Ad hoc projects as required
Liaise with the FP&A team and the business functions to ensure costs and income are recorded accurately in the accounting records

Requirements

A fully qualified accountant, recently qualified
Experience working within commodities trading
The business HQ is based in the Nordics so there would be an expectation & support in relocation
Attention to detail and willingness to review and challenge the status quo
