We are seeking a driven, enthusiastic and passionate individual to join the Marketing team. This role will be responsible for wholesale marketing programs for the Asia Pacific ex Japan (AxJ) region.

Position: Marketing Manager/Executive

Location: Please note that this role is based either in Hong Kong or Singapore. 

Duration: 6 month maternity contract

 

Key Responsibilities for this role:

  • Project management of bespoke Marketing literature – brochures, flyers etc. including content writing or adaptation of existing copy for an Asian audience.
  • Update existing and create new Marketing materials to support campaigns, events or sales activity, working closely with the relevant content, compliance and sales teams.
  • Regularly maintain a comprehensive range of marketing literature, being responsible for the delivery from start to finish.
  • Coordinate and check translation of all marketing materials.
  • Take ownership of the coordination of M&G's sponsorship of 3rd party conferences and liaising with the Events team in London.
  • End-to-end management of local events, including virtual events, small-scale client seminars and third-party conferences in liaison with local event organisers (publishers, agencies, client marketing teams).
  • Design and implement regular and tactical email campaigns to deliver top-quality digital communications to clients.
  • Ensure the content on the M&G country websites is always accurate and up to date.
  • Support the delivery of advertising and advertorials for external publications and websites.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities comply with M&G’s regulatory policies, requirements of FCA and local regulators.
  • Work closely with internal departments and external agencies to ensure deadlines are adhered to and processes are effectively followed.
  • Support brand building exercises and assist in sponsorship promotion.
  • Support budget management and invoicing.
  • Coordinate the regular activity reports and presentations.
  • Undertake ad hoc administrative duties and projects to support the channel management team

Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Degree level with 2 to 7 years relevant marketing experience in the Financial Services industry, preferably in Asset Management but we also welcome candidates with marketing experience in the broader financial services industry.
  • An effective communicator with excellent command in English and proficiency in Chinese and Mandarin for reviewing translations.
  • A driven individual with the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and seeks to deliver with exceptional results.
  • Proficient with digital marketing implementation, channels and best practices.
  • Some understanding of investment products and the investment industry in general.
  • Proficient in the MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Experience in email marketing (Eloqua) would be an advantage.
