What is the opportunity?
This role offers a high impact opportunity for a Solution Architect to shape New Irelan's Wealth and Insurance technology landscape. You will design end to end end solutions across Policy Administration Systems, modernise legacy platforms, and ensure seamless alignment between business needs, governance frameworks, and technical delivery.
The position provides strong visibility with senior stakeholders and influence over long term architectural direction, integration strategy, and future ready transformation initiatives.

This role will suit someone who understands the wider group and IT landscape, communicates confidently with senior leaders, and can simplify sophisticated architectural concepts.
Experience delivering enterprise-level integrations or modernisation programmes will significantly enhance your impact, particularly where you've helped transition legacy systems into future ready architectures. Solid understanding of governance frameworks, enterprise banking platforms and modern integration patterns, such as API led design, event driven services or cloud based connectivity will be valuable.

You'll join a high energy, collaborative technology group working across wealth, insurance and Enterprise Banking Systems. The team plays a central role in New Ireland's integration and modernisation agenda, crafting how legacy platforms evolve into future state architectures and ensuring solutions meet governance, business and technical standards. You'll work closely with architects, engineers, governance specialists and business partners, contributing to solution assurance, architectural reviews and cross functional decision making.
This is a hybrid role, based primarily at our Ballsbridge office, with a minimum of 8 in person days per month to support collaboration and connection. - Design and deliver end to end solutions across Enterprise Policy Administration Systems and large scale transformation programmes.
- Lead integration initiatives within the Wealth & Insurance Hub, ensuring seamless alignment between legacy systems and modern platforms.
- Contribute to the evolution of future-state architecture through analysis and optimisation of Enterprise Banking Systems.
- Translate complex architectural designs into clear, business-friendly language for senior stakeholders and non-technical audiences.
- Ensure governance alignment across business, technology and enterprise standards while participating in solution integrity checks and Architectural reviews.

Essential qualifications
- Degree in a relevant IT-related discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or similar).
- Candidates without a formal qualification may be considered based on equivalent practical experience and demonstrated expertise in solution architecture and their ability to deliver strategic architectural solutions within a complex enterprise environment.
