DBS trades in a comprehensive product range, including foreign exchange, as well as interest rates and derivatives. Treasury & Markets (T&M) provides total solutions to serve DBS clients' hedging and investment needs with a regional emphasis. We are a leader in SGD and regional products with an excellent, customer-driven research capability and with cutting-edge risk management technology and systems.
Responsibilities: - Fulfilling various requests from Korean financial & institutional clients, and managing client accounts
- Marketing various T&M products with specific focus on credit derivatives (TRS, term repo, collateral swap), equity derivative (index swap, equity SBL), rates derivative (structured notes & swap), Non-deliverable KTB CCS, other ND swaps, and Asian government bonds
- Driving Cash credit sales to Korea FI/II in collaboration with fixed income sales team
- Supporting SSA (Sovereign, Supranational, Agencies) business as a cover sales person
- Working with respective product desk in terms of product pricing, term sheet review, deal execution, and trade bookings
- Closely collaborating with onshore Korea T&M sales team & FIG to expand Korea FI/II business
- Closely following up Korea's regulatory status and its development in cross-border marketing and license matters
- Summarizing & analyzing Korea fortnightly/monthly sales revenue, historical data management, and handling Korea business review presentation deck
Requirements - 5-7 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of financial products ranging from flow to structured
- Knowledge of Korean regulations
- Strong inbuilt relationship with Korean FI/II clients
- Fast learner with ambition to grow
- Proficiency in Korean as the incumbent will have to interactive with Korean cllients
