Our client a leading asset manager is looking to hire a Software Developer to join their technology team of 3 to develop and support Front office trading tools (Python Platform).
Main Responsibilities:
- You will be involved in developing and supporting Front office trading tools (Python Platform).
- You will work directly with PMs to help them develop tools.
- Candidates must have experience in FX/Interest Rates.
Basic Qualifications:
- 3+ years of working experience in a software developer role
- knowledge of software development life cycle
- Strong technical knowledge and development experience in at least one of the following languages: C, C++, C#, Java, Python
- Relevant experience working with SQL and No-SQL databases
- Solid working experience on both Linux and Windows platforms
- Good analytical and communication skills
- Passion to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with functional programming languages like F#, Scala, or Erlang
- Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology
- Experience in developing solutions for financial institutions.
- knowledge of financial products (FX, IR) lifecycle of a trade
- Experience working with cloud services and solutions
- Experience in building Web UI (SPA/PWA)
