The Chubb Apprenticeship Programme is a 24-month opportunity designed to give you hands-on experience within our Claims function. This rotational structure provides a comprehensive understanding of the insurance cycle while equipping you with practical skills and industry knowledge. As an Apprentice, you'll gain valuable insights and expertise that can pave the way for future roles in claims adjusting, operations, underwriting, and risk analysis.



The programme combines 20% structured learning with 80% on-the-job training, focusing on Chubb's insurance technical expertise and professional development pathway. With exposure to our Claims function across different insurance lines, you'll build a strong foundation for a career in these areas and beyond. Whether you aspire to excel in claims, or other exciting fields, this programme is your perfect starting point.




Key Responsibilities



Discover what happens behind the scenes after an incident and supporting the claims teams to deliver exceptional client service. You'll take ownership of key operational tasks, including:

• Assist in delivering Chubb's claims strategy


• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders


• Ensure claims are handled efficiently and in line with standards

By working closely with the claims team, you'll develop the skills to exceed customer and broker expectations and lay the foundation for a successful career in insurance claims.

Qualifications




Required Skills

• Minimum A-levels (grade C or above) or equivalent (e.g., Scottish Standard Grade, Junior Certificate in Ireland), including GCSE Mathematics and English


• Proficient in written and spoken English


• High level of accuracy and attention to detail


• A customer-centric mindset with the ability to empathise and build rapport


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• A proactive, solution-oriented approach with adaptability to new processes


• Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively


• A collaborative mindset, curiosity, and eagerness to solve problems
