Our client a reputable buy-side institution based in London have an exciting opportunity for an "Operations Analyst" !! The "Operations Analyst" will be working within Operations Control, comprising of seven people. The role will be to support the team in managing operational risk from a controls perspective, and to ensure that outsourced functions are performed effectively.

Our client a reputable buy-side institution based in London have an exciting opportunity for an "Operations Analyst" !! The "Operations Analyst" will be working within Operations Control, comprising of seven people. The role will be to support the team in managing operational risk from a controls perspective, and to ensure that outsourced functions are performed effectively.

On a daily basis the incumbent will be performing the following;

  • Identify and address key risks, potential control weaknesses and inefficiencies of processes and systems
  • Work with the team on outsourcing functions, and to perform processes for in-house activities
  • Provide oversight for trade processing and governance using MI, KPI's and SLA's
  • Perform and coordinate business trade processing
  • Support operations projects, and firm wide initiatives
  • Continually review team processes and procedures
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. to include Transfer Agents, Brokers and Middle Office

Requirements:-

  • Experience within the buy-side covering investment products, multi-asset exposure essential
  • Experienced in securities trade management and settlements processes, and managing associated operational risks
  • Understanding of operational risk, in particular trade life cycle, ability to identify weaknesses in processes, and devise necessary controls as and when required
  • Experienced in private placements, and operated work-flows is preferable
  • Qualification at IOC level, preferably covering Global Securities Operations and/or Operational Risk technical units
