The Beacon Design System team is a cross-functional team of Product, Design, and Engineering specialists responsible for building the enterprise platform that powers digital experiences across T. Rowe Price.
As part of the Global Research & Design organization, you'll have the opportunity to help define the future of digital product development-combining product thinking, design systems, accessibility, and AI to create smarter ways for teams to design, build, and deliver exceptional client experiences at scale. We partner with teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, enabling consistent digital experiences across a global portfolio of products and client journeys.
Role Summary
We're looking for someone who is naturally curious, enjoys solving ambiguous problems, and is excited by the opportunity to use AI to become a better product thinker-not simply to produce documentation faster.
The Product Analyst helps shape the future direction of Beacon by identifying opportunities, validating ideas, and translating customer, business, and technology insights into scalable product solutions and measurable outcomes. Working closely with the Design System Product Owner, Designers, Developers, and stakeholders across the firm, this role combines product thinking, data, and collaboration to help prioritize the right problems, define scalable solutions, and accelerate adoption of Beacon. As AI continues to transform product development, this role will increasingly focus on discovery, strategic thinking, and product decision-making, using AI to augment product thinking, accelerate delivery, and unlock new opportunities for our design system and our client experiences.

Responsibilities
- Identifying product opportunities by combining community insight, stakeholder feedback, product data, and emerging technology trends to inform product direction.
- Leading discovery activities to better understand problems, validate assumptions, and define opportunities before solutions are proposed.
- Developing hypotheses and evidence-based recommendations to help prioritize opportunities based on customer value, business impact, strategic objectives, and measurable outcomes.
- Supporting product roadmap planning and backlog refinement, including drafting product canvases, user stories, features, and acceptance criteria.
- Building trusted relationships across Product, Design, Engineering, Accessibility, and business teams to understand evolving needs, influence decision-making, and support the successful delivery of Beacon capabilities.
- Partnering with product and delivery teams across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific to gather feedback, identify opportunities, and increase adoption of Beacon.
- Defining, tracking, and communicating product success metrics, including adoption, usage, accessibility compliance, delivery efficiency, customer satisfaction, business impact, and time-to-delivery improvements, to inform future prioritization and investment decisions.
- Supporting change management and adoption initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, product communications, education, and community enablement, to help teams successfully adopt Beacon and AI-enabled ways of working.
- Supporting product governance processes, including intake evaluation, contribution reviews, prioritization, and alignment with Beacon standards.
- Exploring emerging AI capabilities and industry trends to identify opportunities that improve Beacon, strengthen product decisions, and evolve the way teams design, build, and deliver digital experiences.

Experience & Qualifications
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3-6+ years in digital product roles
- Experience working in agile environments (Jira)
- Strong ability to identify product opportunities, facilitate discovery, and translate business needs into actionable product outcomes.
- Experience working across product, design, and engineering teams
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred:
- Experience using product analytics, adoption metrics, or data-driven decision making.
- Experience with design systems
- Familiarity with accessibility standards
- Curiosity about AI and emerging technologies, with an interest in applying them to improve product development and digital experiences.
- Experience in financial services or asset management
