Digital Content Designer

We're looking for a Digital Content Designer to join the Digital Marketing team on a 12 month fixed term basis to create clear, user-centred content across our digital products. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to design content that helps users complete tasks, understand complex information, and deliver seamless digital journeys.

You'll contribute across the full delivery lifecycle, from discovery through to live, using research, data and collaboration to shape effective content solutions. This role is ideal for someone with around 2 years' experience who can work independently while contributing to a wider content design practice.

About the role

• Design and deliver clear, accessible, user-centred content for web channels
• Work iteratively in agile teams, contributing from concept through to continuous improvement
• Collaborate with UX designers, product managers and marketing teams
• Use user research, analytics and feedback to inform content decisions
• Develop wireframes and prototypes using Figma
• Ensure content meets accessibility, governance and quality standards
• Engage stakeholders to gather requirements, present solutions and incorporate feedback

About you

• Proven experience as a content designer on complex, user-centred digital products or services
• Strong ability to write and structure clear, concise, user-focused content
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams across the product lifecycle is desirable
• Experience using Figma and FigJam, or similar tool
• Good understanding of user-centred content design methodology
• Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive design principles and usability standards
• Understanding of SEO and GEO best practices and on-page content optimisation would be beneficial
• Confidence engaging with stakeholders and communicating content decisions clearly
