Network Architect
The Network team is looking to add a seasoned Network Engineer to our networking team. Your goal is to be one of the contributors to the global network team and assist with the transformation to cloud services and a software-defined network. This is a tremendous opportunity to join a global organization and participate in the development of the next generation network architecture. Ideal candidates will have well-rounded knowledge of network design and implementation, collaboration tools and automation.
Essential Job Functions - Ability to provide technical leadership across the IT organization in support of network initiatives
- Collaborate with IT teams to define strategy and align with the network strategic initiatives
- Develop, implement and maintain standards and procedures for network design and configurations
- Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them
- Thorough knowledge of infrastructure technology interdependencies
- Exceptional troubleshooting and problem solving skills required
- Ability to lead and execute large, complex projects related to new technology integration
- Final technical escalation point of contact for network technologies
- Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor degree
- 10+ years' experience in the data center and campus networking field
- High-level certification in a major technology area preferred (CCNP, CCIE etc)
- Technical expertise preferred in 3 or more of the following areas:
- Data Center Network Design
- Routing and Switching
- Wireless Design
- Load Balancing
- Software Defined Networking
- SD-WAN
- Architectural understanding of top cloud providers (i.e., AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS offerings such as Office 365, Box and Salesforce
- Develop, document and update standards documentation
- Conduct research, testing and evaluations on network solutions
