Our client is looking for a Global Head of Sales in NY

Our client is loking for a Head of Sales in NY. This role is an extremely exciting team to lead a team here in the U.S. as well as London and other parts of Europe. They are looking for an individual who would sit in a player-coach role as well as manage a team of 10+.

Principle Responsibilities:

  • Lead the global sales team in retaining clients, upselling and gaining new-logo business in order to meet and exceed targets

  • Introduce and maintain rigorous sales processes, working closely with marketing, sales operations, and finance

  • Recruit, train, manage and develop high-performing salespeople

  • Manage the expense P&L of the global sales team to agreed targets and ratios

  • International travel to develop the business and team in Europe and Asia



Experience Required:
Must have:

  • At least 5 years' experience at this level

  • Led subscription sales in an B2B information business

  • Run sales for a multi-product portfolio

  • Success in growing international teams and revenue

  • Built and developed initially inexperienced teams

  • Implemented successful, sophisticated, data-driven sales processes

  • Strong experience of multi-stakeholder sales

  • Direct management of team - minimum 10

  • Direct management of remote teams/individuals

  • Strong experience and record in new sales, retention and upsells
