We are seeking a Software Engineer to join our Cloud Platform team, where you will help build and enhance scalable, secure, and reliable applications and platform capabilities that support internal and business-critical services.
This role is ideal for an engineer with a strong foundation in software development and an interest in full-stack engineering, including backend services, APIs, frontend applications, and cloud-native development. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver end-to-end solutions that improve developer productivity, platform reliability, and user experience.

Basic Qualifications
Bachelors degree, OR 3+ years of relevant work experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience or coursework in full-stack development, including backend services and frontend development.
Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, HTML, and CSS.
Experience with backend development using technologies such as Java, Python, REST APIs, Spring Boot, Node.js, or similar frameworks.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP and understanding of cloud-native design principles.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control, containerization, and automation tools.
Understanding of software testing principles, including unit, integration, and automation testing.
Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across teams.

For roles located in the US, the estimated salary range for this position is $88,000.00 to $ 136,900.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.

Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements
This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements
This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
