C# Developer - Microservices, Openshift - 2+ years contract for our Basel based client in the Financial Services sector.
Your tasks:
- Design, develop and test .NET microservices that connect external SaaS platforms with internal applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure solutions align with the existing architecture and design patterns.
- Analyse requirements, contribute to solution design, and support initial testing within an agile team.
- Document technical decisions, implementation approaches, and system behaviour clearly and consistently.
- Provide on-call support for deployed microservices and help resolve production issues when required.
- Contribute to architecture discussions and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, security, and maintainability.
Your experience/knowledge:
- Extensive C#/.NET Core development experience
- Microservices and containers such as Kubernetes or OpenShift expertise
- Strong hands-on experience with message queues, ideally Kafka, as well as relational and non-relational databases.
- Experience with modern CI/CD pipelines and enterprise log management platforms such as the ELK stack.
- Solid knowledge of design and integration patterns, particularly event-driven architecture.
- Language skills: English
